Gong for education leader

Congratulations to the ever-inspiring Kathe Kirby who was named as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to public administration and tertiary education in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Kathe, education consultant to ALL, is well-known throughout the education sector for her extraordinary contribution to national curriculum policy, national teacher professional learning and curriculum resource bank strategies.

Over the years, Kathe has led Asia Education Foundation at Asialink, The University of Melbourne, the Global Education Leaders’ Partnership (GELP), and is a Board Director of Education Services Australia (ESA).
