Katherine High School – every person, every opportunity

Katherine High School aims to be a future focused school where every person is provided every opportunity to learn and work in a supportive educational environment. The school continues to work towards positively developing the learner experience and its operational philosophy.

Sixty percent of students at Katherine High School are in the lowest quartile of the ICSEA scale. Eighty percent are in the bottom half. Sixtyeight percent of students are Aboriginal with 31 traditional first languages spoken including four dialects of Kriol. The school currently has more than 600 enrolments.
