Looking to the future: Review of Secondary Pathways

The Education Council commissioned a Review of Senior Secondary Pathways to provide the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Education Council with advice and recommendations on how senior secondary students can be better supported to choose the pathway into work, further education and/or training that is right for them. The review was led by Professor Peter Shergold. Among the recommendations was the introduction of a Learner Profile that will identify a student’s range of skills, knowledge and experiences both from inside and outside the classroom.
